Finn competing at the Commonwealth Games

Finn Crockett, brought up in Strathpeffer, school in the village and Dingwall Academy, son of Heather and Kevin Crockett (Heather is the local medical practice nurse and she and Kevin orchestrate Peffery Way maintenance), is competing in the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham this week – now!!

Finn’s main event is the Road Race Cycling on Sunday 7th August and this will be on BBC.  It starts at 12.30.

Apologies to Finn for including the wrong picture of him yesterday, having two cyclists called Finn’s in the same village totally threw me🥴. If any comment is needed his Mum says that “He loved being part of the race” today and that the “crowds and atmosphere were fab”. Roll on Sunday’s event!

Late on he has also been confirmed as taking part in tomorrows (Thursday 4th) Time Trials Cycling event and he sets off at 12.10.   Further info at https://www.birmingham2022.com/free-to-view/cycling-time-trial
