Dingwall Players set sail for Treasure Island

Following the success of last year’s socially distanced, outdoor production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Dingwall Players are once more staging summer performances at Foulis Storehouse. This year the site, with its splendid backdrop of the Moray Firth, will provide the perfect setting for Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic, Treasure Island!
Join Gemima and Ma Hawkins aboard the Hispaniola as they set sail on an adventure to search for the lost treasure on Treasure Island! Will Long John Silver, with Captain Flint the parrot, and his band of pirates claim the booty first? Who is the strange character Ben Gunn? Will anybody survive Ma’s cooking?

Dingwall Players present a socially distanced, outdoor, non-seated, promenade performance of a version of the classic Robert Louis Stevenson tale, ‘Treasure Island’. The play will be performed at Foulis Storehouse – a stunning and evocative setting overlooking the Cromarty Firth, the perfect backdrop for this tale of pirates, buried treasure and an interfering parrot!

Fun for all the family. Come dressed as a pirate and join the crew on the quest to discover Treasure Island! Win a pirate ship!

Treasure Island can be seen on Wednesday 28, Thursday 29 and Saturday 31 July at 7pm. Tickets are free but must be booked in advance at
