Community Resilience Group Weekly Briefing – 19 November 2021

The number of confirmed cases of COVID has risen again across the NHS Highland area in the last week. Therefore the message remains to be careful and follow government guidance in order to limit the spread of the virus. This week’s briefing is attached and contains information on:

  • The current numbers of covid cases across Highland
  • Information on asymptomatic and symptomatic testing – a diagram on the types of test is attached for ease of sharing
  • Next week’s community testing programme for people without symptoms which will be in Aviemore
  • Information on a range of funding opportunities
    • Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund
    • Nature Restoration Fund
    • Investing in Communities Fund (opening next April but workshops in advance)
    • Tenant Grant Fund – applications can be from tenants, landlords or third party organisations that are supporting either a tenant or landlord.
    • Connecting Scotland Programme – deadline extended

Thank you for everything that you are doing in your communities

Best wishes
