Strathpeffer's shops offer an eclectic mix for locals and visitors to the village.
The majority of shops are in the Square, but there are also shops at the Old Railway Station and in the historic Pump Room.
If you're on holiday or visiting the village for the day, it's worth taking time to have a look around the shops, where you'll find a warm welcome and probably something you can't resist buying.
Aladdin's Cave is a family run shop in the center of the village. Deceptively bigger than it looks from the outside The Cave is made up of 3 rooms, each one full to the brim and if they don't have it, you probably don't need it! They stock a wide range of products including: Strathpeffer souvenirs, clothing, toys, food (as well as Haggis), gifts, Calor Gas (LPG), pet, household and hardware supplies. They also provide a range of takeaway foods including sandwiches, fresh coffee and ice-cream.

The Strathpeffer Golf Club has a Golf Pro shop selling a range of clothing and equipment for golfers.
The Museum Gift Shop is stocked with unusual gifts, a variety of traditional toys and games and a wide selection of books for children and adults. Entrance to the museum is through the shop.
Knockfarrel Produce is a small family run organic croft nestled beneath the iron age hill fort of Knockfarrel. Growing fresh healthy food for local customers within 30 miles of their croft.
McColl's Licensed Convenience Store, Groceries, Newsagent and Post Office.
The Real Sweets & Gift Company have an traditional sweetshop selling a range of nostalgic sweets by the quarter from jars, along with a wide range of other sweets and chocolates, from retro childhood favourites to modern classics, those to suit special dietary needs and sweet gifts available to buy or to order. There is also a giftshop selling unusual and an eclectic mix of gifts, with an emphasis on locally sourced arts, crafts and food products. We also sell the award winning Orkney Ice Cream.
Ruby's Boutique is a children's clothes shop, with adorable high end fashion clothing at affordable prices for your little ones. They stock a wide range of party dresses, suits, casual ware and accessories. They also stock Scottish made tartan clothing, including children's kilts, baby ware and dresses.
They are based out of Aladdin's Cave in The Square, but you can also find all their goods on their website.
Shelley's Hair Salon is a well established, traditional family hair salon, providing a range of hairdressing services, including, hair colour treatments, straightening and haircuts for men and women. Also hair styling for all the family for weddings, proms and special occasions.

The Spa Pharmacy opened on its present site about 1880 and has continued to trade as an independent community pharmacy ever since. On display they have an interesting collection (not for sale) of pharmacy antiques such as poison bottles, medical rounds and ornate syrup and ointment jars.
Square Wheels cycles is situated in the centre of the village. Selling bikes and accessories for all cycling needs, as well as bike servicing and repairs. Trail maps and Bike Hire also available.
Strathpeffer Crafts is a long established family business selling a range of gifts for all occasions, including locally sourced arts, crafts and jewellery.
