Circus of Horrors - Night of the Zombie (8pm - Wednesday 4th February 2015)

The show that stormed into the finals of Britain’s Got Talent and is now a West End smash is back to mark its 20th Anniversary in spectacular style.

The latest incarnation, The Night of the Zombie, is set in 2020, in a decrepit and corpse-ridden London plagued by a swamp of zombies. In a city ruled by the undead, it climaxes in an awesome flaming apocalypse.

The show is performed by an almighty cast, with a forked tongue firmly in each cheek and the devil driver rock ‘n’ roll of Dr. Haze &The Interceptors from Hell.

Strathpeffer Housing Development gets go ahead!

Several mature trees will be felled and a “beautiful” beech hedge lining the main road into the village will have to come down to make way for the detached and semi-detached houses.

The development will be accessed via the existing driveway to Nutwood Road and a 30mph speed limit will be imposed on a stretch of the A834 road.

Planning officer Erika McArthur said the hedge would be replanted and the current access road would need to be completely reconstructed to accommodate the properties.
